METALIC PAPER is even more expensive and requires a high degree of printing expertise and equipment to produce a Fine Art archival print. The true metallic nature requires careful handling until image is secured and protected by framing. For this reason Metallic prints are available framed only. Canvas has become a wonderful Artist tool for the photographer. It offers a softer image, is light and often less expensive to frame. Gallery wrap with image extending around edges and no formal frame is also popular and can give a contemporary look.. Painting on the canvas after printing can make the image a one of a kind..
