*Digital ...What's In It For You ?

The weather has no respect for Special Events, etc.
Because of immediate read back of images, I was able to adjust for the changing light and weather.
As a result I was able to deliver these and many more images in
a CLOSED BARN, on a RAINY DAY, with AVAILABLE LIGHT ONLY.

As you can see, a flash would of not have been safe with young foals free at their mothers side in a crowd of people.
I also like to catch those "natural" moments by trying to stay all but invisible to my subjects,
4 or 2 legged.

This stormy, rainy day actually delivered some of my best images because of the dramatic and changing light. Since I used no flash, I think I was also able to convey just how warm and sung everyone felt in the barn.

I have taken many photo workshops and I am always expanding & honing my skills. But being for the most part self taught and admittedly somewhat unorthodox has it's advantages. I tend to think "outside the box" and I do not believe I am the right choice if you are looking for a "studio posed look"...but if you love manes blowing in the breeze and a more natural presentation, so do I!
